OUR PEOPLE
Lucas graduated from Western Illinois University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Business Degree in Accountancy. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member in good standing with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Illinois CPA Society. He is also a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Lucas has worked in public accounting with middle market businesses for 10 years. As an Assurance Manager overseeing Audits, Reviews, Compilations and General Accounting work he has worked extensively with manufacturing, distribution, construction, and service companies.
Prior to joining Apex, Lucas worked for two years as the Executive Controller of an Engineering Design/Construction Management company. Lucas specializes in audits, reviews, and compilations; as well as a multitude of other services including monthly/quarterly accounting, budgeting & forecasting. Lucas enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends, modifying and detailing cars, and listening to a wide variety of music. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra as Treasurer.
