The Internal Revenue Service released IRS Tax Tip 2012-12, Tax Help ‘en Español,’ on Jan. 19, 2012, as an addition to the plethora of tax tips and other information it publishes to assist taxpayers attempting to comply with the federal tax laws.

“Tax information can be tough to understand in any language, but it can be even more difficult if it is not in your first language. The IRS offers a wide range of free and easy-to-use products and services for Spanish-speaking taxpayers,” the IRS said. “Here are 10 ways you can get help from the IRS if you need assistance with your federal taxes in Spanish.” The Tax Tip goes on to list 10 suggestions – all spelled out in English, not en Español!

“You must pay taxes. But there’s no law that says you gotta leave a tip.” – Morgan Stanley advertisement
